It’s true, you should focus on what you want and direct your energy toward those things.
But here’s the trap many fall into: they focus so intensely on what they want that they begin to ignore what they don’t want. At first, this seems positive, after all, why dwell on the negative?
But ignoring reality doesn’t make it disappear; it simply blinds you to change.
Over time, this single-minded focus can isolate you. Everything may work perfectly, until it doesn’t. While you’re absorbed in your own path, the world shifts around you, unnoticed.
By the time you realize it, adaptation is harder.
The new reality no longer aligns with your vision, and worse, it may reject you as out of touch. What began as a positive mindset, relentless focus on your goals, can become a weakness if left unchecked.
Whether you can pivot depends on what you do next.
Think about it.
