It doesn’t matter how motivated you are if you can’t do what you need to do.

Far too many people follow those typical LaLaLand motivational phrases – the ones that feel good, sound good, and look good.

But here’s something to think about – and maybe to rethink those motivational ideologies that are shared like absolute truth.

Motivation is personal. Skill is shared.I’ll take the one who delivers – not the one who promises.

Give me the quiet one who knows what to do. The one the team relies on, not because they’re loud, but because they’re solid.

Next time you think about who fits best into your team – including yourself – understand this:

Motivation fades. Skill endures. Build your team on what lasts.
